In your experience, is there a 3 party Remote Release Cord, that is as good as or better than the Canon original. I've seen a Canon model that has a programable timer for use in Bulb mode. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Dean

I have the Canon model that has the extra features.

I admit I don't use them often, but they're handy when you need them.

Nova Photography makes the best 3rd party regular WIRED remote.

But I recommend the Phottix wireless remote because it is a wireless that includes a wired remote as part of the package. http://www.dpnotes.com/reviews/phottixcleonc8.php

Phottix wireless remote
Another vote for the Phottix Cleon. It can mount to your hotshoe so you don't have anything hanging down.
