I've found just the thing for you! You can now shoot left handed it looks like using this grip.

Looks cheaply made. Very cheaply made. I wonder if anyone on here has one...

Someone reviewed the alpha version of this grip (or maybe it was the canon, I forget) and said it sucked bad compared to the other opteka grip. Considering the rest of the controls are still right hand oriented having a left handed shutter button would have its uses, but would be minimally functional.

I'm a lefty as well and by the time you hit school age I think most lefties are closer to ambidextrous than left handed, its a right handed world unfortunately (with a few exceptions).

Yeah I agree, I saw a show recently on TV where they had a whole lot of left handed products, like a left handed corkscrew (apparently it's easier to get force pushing away from the body, so it goes counter clockwise instead of clockwise). I thought about the things they had on there, but I'd find it more difficult... so used to the right handed things that we use everyday.

I am planning on buying the Lowepro Slingshot 200 and while it looks like a great bag, the strap goes over the right shoulder and I prefer to have messenger bags and sling bag go over my left shoulder.

Am I alone with feeling or are there other leftys, who wish for a bag like that?
Maybe I should mention it to Lowepro.

Do you have to use it with the camera upside-down if you want to shoot left-handed for landscape shots (which, btw, you can do with a regular grip)?

looks like it can hold eight D batteries.
