I've been looking at the wireless shutter triggers that come out of Hong Kong for around 20 bucks. Does anyone use them? Are they reliable or do they have random kicks like the remote flash's do? Are they all pretty much the same at that price?
Thanks,
Jerry

i just picked one up for about $8 shipped from hong kong. it took about a week to get here and so far it works GREAT. a switch is a switch. can't really go wrong with it. i've only had it for about a week, so we'll see how it goes. but like i said.. so far, no problems what so ever.

I got my el-cheapo from here:

I got it when I bought my lens filters.
When I got it, it didn't look like the one on the website <_< but it works nevertheless.

I am on my second. The first broke in the camera socket, but that could have been my fault. They work great and ship really fast.

Just so no one is confused: the OP asked about wireless remotes for around $20, while some of the posts have referenced wired triggers for much less.
Two different products, but have a place in many bags.

Good point. I also have bought the cheap import wireless and it worked fine, but directions for use are skimpy.
