Hey all,

At the moment ive got 2 LowePro 140AW bags which I got free with a magazine subscription a while back, however while they arnt huge they dont exactly go unnoticed when out & about.

Ive been looking at the Crumpler range of bags & they look ideal but its hard to decide WHICH!

All I want is a bag for my 350D + 17-70 lens, as small as possible (without having to cram it in under pressure of course), ive got a neat little leather pouch for my 55-200 lens which clips on my belt & is hidden under my coat.

I found this site (below) & on the size chart which you can download it says a "Crumpler Pretty Boy S Photo Bag" (Prettyboy 650) is suitable for a 350D or 400D camera, but the sizes dont seem to add up, the width & height are fine but its saying the depth is only 6cm, after measuring my camera its more like 9cm.

Any ideas? I dont want to carry anything larger around with me, I really want something that isnt much larger than the 350D + 17-70 itself, if im doing some serious work I will obviously take my tripod & other bits & bobs with me but this bag is really just as a light & hopefully very small alternative.

You can try the Lowepro TLZ mini or TLZ 1. If you have a very thin camera strap, the mini is really nice. They are also very nice to hang from a backpack strap, as the lid opens outward.

I did think about the lowepro ones but they just dont seem to be what im looking for, maybe its because ive had lowepro bags & fancy a change I dont know, but the TLZ mini has a handle on the top & seems to hold its shape too well, I really need something more modern looking.

Just bought a 4 million dollar Crumpler for my 400D with a 24-105mm f4L lens. Perfect fit with little room for anything else. The price at Circuit City comes in a hair under
$50.00; actually beat everything i can find online. Oh, it also has a handle on the top. Looks good;functions well without looking like a camera bag.

I really want something that will hug the 350D + attached lens, I dont need anymore room for other gear (in this occasion) its purely just for the 350D + lens, ideally something that also doesnt look like a camera bag as there are certain places in the UK where you need to hide the equipment, not go walking around with it all on show.

Domke F-5xb got mine in black, it was the tamron/domke version and cut the tag off.

Looks like a "man bag" very discrete.

Check out this thread.
