Looking for a remote for the 30D but all I've found are wired ones. I know of the simple and the highly expsive where I can set when it goes off, timed exposures and all that jazz and then one which is just an extension of the shutter button.

But is there a wireless one like for the Rebel? 'Cause when I was reading, it didn't say it was compatible with the 30D so I thought there'd be a different one or something but I can't find it. Simple like, not a whole system.

I don't mind a wired one, so is the wireless system that's out there worth it? Also, anyone have the TC-80N3? I've read it about. Seems quite awesome.

Or should I simply stick with the RS version???

Thanks!

I bought one of these off B+H a couple weeks ago, it seems to work pretty good. I havent had a lot of time to play with it yet but it is a big improvement to the IR and wired ones i had with my old 300d. no complaints yet.

it's a wireless fairly long range(around 100ft) remote control. i thought you were looking for a wireless? you can use your camera's bulb feature,a wrist watch and any wired Ebay $10.00 remote and get the same result as the
TC-80N3. if i read correctly.;)

well yeah, but everything on the TC is programmed.

this is the TC. And the wireless is just a wireless right? Which I thought about getting some ebay thing for simple sit there exposures of longer than 30s. But thanks for the input! 100 ft...that would be useful though.
