Just purchased a dell XPS M1710 laptop and wondered if anyone could recommend me a bag to hold the laptop and some of my camera gear? I would prefer a rucksack, i have a crumpler schrinkle but i believe thats only good for upto 15.4" laptop.
This would be for occasional use as i use a slingshot 200 for everyday. Preferably be better if i can use it for hand luggage on the plane.
thanks

Not exactly what you are looking for, but when I was in need of a bag for my 17 inch MacBook Pro, this fit the bill. Expensive but incredibly well made.

I think the Tenba DB-17C will work. I have one and that was the idea to fit a 17" widescreen Mac laptop in there. I have pics of the inside of it where the camera is somewhere on this forum, in the "show me your camera bag" thread perhaps. The funding for toys has dried up and as such the Mac laptop idea was put on hiatus indefinitely. It is huge though. I can fit the Canon EOS 10D, Sigma 120-300 attached and still enough room to stick the 24-70mm F2.8L inline. I guess you have to see the thread. http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=36952 is where to go. This will definitely not be carry-on. This is however the "home" of my stuff when it is not in use.
It is truly mother's day every day here.
