Hi All,
I've recently purchased a lens adpater for my Canon 300d, so I can reverse my efs 18 - 55mm lens and use it for macro photography. The adapter fits to the body of the camera, but the lens doesn't thread onto the adpater.
What I would like to know is, am I using the wrong lens, have I purchased the wrong adapter, or do I need something else besides the adapter.
Many thanks
Caz

The adapter should have 58mm threads for your lens. What is the make and model of the adapter?

Hi Memorex,
Theres no make or model, I bought it from ebay... Do I need to purchase an additional piece for the adapter, or have I wasted my money?

having no idea what kind of adapter it is, I can't answer your question.
Do you have the link to ebay so I can see what the specs are?

I just read the description from your link. Your adapter is for lenses with 52mm filter diameter. You will need a 52mm to 58mm step up ring in order to mount your kit lens.
