I am looking for a new tripod head that is reasonably priced and I’m currently looking at the 390RC2, but there seem to be 2 of them, as there is also one called 390RC2 junior.

I thought it was just the way each shop advertised them, but they also look slightly different but have the same spec.

If you look at these 2 links the first shows the handle as being short and stout (like little tommy) and the second has a longer handle.

Are they 2 different heads or am I going mad.

My one looks actually the same as the one show at Aspen of Hereford LTD.

I bought mine as part of a package with 190CL tripod at Jessops.

The other one looks like an old library pic from Manfrotto.

It's ok depending on what type of photography you do.
I mainly use it for motorsport on my monopod however I wouldn't recommend it for still life, portraits etc...
