I just got an S2, and i am looking at getting the lensmate 52mm adpater and a UV filter. My questions are, can i still put a lens hood on to the uv filter? like still use the filter with the hood. I know some filters are stackable, so would i be able to stack a hood on?
Also with the adapter on, is there a bag large enfough to hold the s2 with the adapter on, and have room for other stuff like a small cleaning kit, maybe room for a future tele converter, room for batteries/small charger, and memory cards?
TIA

if the adaptor allows you to attach standard filters, then yes, you should be able to find a hood you can screw on, as most common filters have threads on both ends. I don't knwo what kind of hood you are looking for, but the pop-out rubber one's are the only kind I know of that screw onto the threads. btw, if you're into macro, get a cheap manual 50mm lens that you can reverse on that adaptor with a macro coupler/reversing ring.

if i use any other hood, would that effect the image? like you can see the hood extend into FOV?
