Backpack for skiing

Any recommendations for a backpack to carry gear on a chairlift at a ski resort. I want to carry a 70-200 and a 300 2.8 lens, plus body and monopod.
The pack would need protection from hitting the back of the lift chair.

I'd just go with something waterproof with a bit of cushioning and some sturdy straps on the inside, mainly in case you fall while skiing. I find it much easier to unstrap my backpack (I don't have lenses or a DSLR to worry about, just my lunch!) and swing it around in front of me while in line. This way I can sit normally in the chair, the bag is secure in my arms, and my sandwich and oranges (your lenses) don't get squished!

Good luck. I've used both backpacks and water packs while skiing/snowboarding. ALL have contact issues with the lift. Generally, people will side carry the packs on the lift or rotate them to the front.

Finding a camera bag with this capability will be difficult. I would recommend a fanny type bag or just settle with a chest mount (like the 75AW).
