I have just bought a 10D on Ebay ( mint: £410) and am disappointed to find that there are no Ever-Ready cases for this camera - and apparently never have been, although there is one for the 20D. I know the joke about 'Never Ready' cases but I really like ERCs.

The alternative seems to be a top loader type, or a Zing case: I find that a difficulty here is buying online and being sure that what is ordered is a good fit. I'll be grateful if users of the 10D will let me know their solution to the case problem.

Ummm... Can't say I've ever seen an Ever-Ready case but if there is one for the 20D, shouldn't it fit the 10D?

I'd like the OptechUSA (http://www.optechusa.com) neoprene solution.

Just ordered the Optech solution from Phillip at www.procameragear.com

Highly recommended for all the Optech range!

i have a zing and an optech. i like the optech much better. with the zing, stretching the loop around the lens makes me feel like i'm going to snap my lens off the mount.

I couldn't find an Optech case here in the UK, but I have managed to sort out which Zing case will be the right size for the 10D (Zing Pro) and have ordered that. I hope it will reach me before Xmas!
