Hello there,
I am just wondering if anyone could recommend the fastest card for the d30.
I am trying to decide between these brands.
Sandisk
Simpletech
Delkin E-Film
Lexar
Thanks again

you might also want to try RiData. they are also supposedly very fast (20x) - i have a 256mb but have no other cf (except the 16mb sandisk that comes with the d30) to compare it with.
the dpreview media and storage forum have threads discussing this particular brand because of excellent price-performance.

I lost the pointer to a review that I read which had the card described below as the fastest. Contrary to my usual luck, that same evening I saw and ordered the card from Outpost.com. Comes with a $25 rebate. Have not yet received the rebate (its been about 10 days - I understand it may take 6 to 8 weeks)
I am very pleased with the card. I plan to order another one and sell the 1 Gig IBM Microdrive that comes with the Canon D30 Rebate.
Copied from my order confirmation email from Outpost.com:
Outpost # 11xxx Qty: 1
Description: 256MB CompactFlash Card for Digital Cameras and PDAs $129.95
After Rebate
Price: $149.95

Hi Ebert,
That info says nothing to help. Give a part number or something that will let us find it. I would like to see which one it is, but a 256 CF is not much to go on.

Pete,
Your absolutly right. I must have been asleep during that post. The card is a Kingston 256 Meg. Go here at Outpost.com:
